When setting your default port settings, you may want to apply these settings to all of your ports at once. This can be done by selecting the "Apply as default to all ports" option when adding your port settings, like you see in the screenshot below:

You can override these default settings by setting different settings on an individual port. The individual port settings will take precedent over the default settings.
