The -stable-true parameter allows you to connect only to our most stable residential proxies. It can help resolve certain connection issues, improve sticky session stability, and reduce IP location mismatches.
What are the benefits of using -stable-true?
Enabling this parameter can help with the following issues:
More stable sticky sessions: Reduces issues where sticky sessions rotate IPs too frequently.
Fewer IP location mismatches: Helps reduce cases where the IP address doesn't match the expected country.
Improved website accessibility: Can help resolve access issues with websites such as YouTube by restricting connections to the most stable IPs under our control.
Are there any downsides?
Yes. When you enable -stable-true, you'll have access to a smaller pool of IP addresses because the connection is restricted to our most stable proxies.
This parameter is not enabled by default to provide access to a larger pool of available IPs.
When should I use -stable-true?
We recommend trying this parameter if you're experiencing:
Sticky sessions rotating too frequently
IP addresses appearing to originate from the wrong country
Access issues with websites such as YouTube
If your proxy connection is working as expected, you don't need to enable it.
In short: The -stable-true parameter prioritizes connection stability over IP pool size, making it a useful troubleshooting option for certain residential proxy issues.
