A slow proxy connection can be caused by several factors.
In most cases, the issue is related to the specific IP, session, port, bandwidth limit, or network type you're using.
The IP you're connected to
Each proxy IP has its own internet connection and speed. Some IPs may naturally be faster or slower than others depending on the underlying connection.
If your current IP is slow, releasing the session can assign you a new IP that may provide better performance.
Port or session issues
If you're experiencing slow speeds through a specific port or session, try releasing the session and reconnecting.
This can give you a different IP and may resolve the performance issue.
Bandwidth limits
Your plan may have a speed or bandwidth limit based on the number of ports or threads included in your subscription.
If you're using a large number of concurrent connections, your available bandwidth may be distributed across those connections, which can affect individual connection speeds.
Network type
The type of proxy you're using can also affect connection speed.
For example, Mobile Proxies use real mobile networks, so their performance depends on the underlying 3G, 4G, or 5G carrier connection. Mobile network conditions can vary depending on the carrier and location.
Quick fix
If your proxy connection is too slow, try:
Release your current session to get a new IP.
Try another port if available.
Test the connection again to see whether performance improves.
If the connection remains slow after trying a different IP or port, contact our support team so they can investigate further.
