What Should I Do If My Proxy Is Not Working?

Written by Proxyrack

If your proxy isn't working as expected, there are a few quick troubleshooting steps you can try before contacting support.

1. Check the Status Page

First, check the Proxyrack Status Page to see if there is a known outage or temporary service issue.

2. Release the Proxy Session

If your proxy is stuck or isn't loading, try releasing the current session. While connected to the affected port, request: Release Session

This will release the current session and assign a new IP address.

3. Try Another Port

If the issue only occurs on a specific port, try connecting through another port.

For example:

  • 10015

  • 10016

If the new port works, the issue may be specific to the original port or session.

4. Try a Different Proxy Address

You can also try connecting through a different proxy address.

For example: usa.rotating.proxyrack.net:10000

Make sure you're using the correct proxy address and port for your service.

5. Seeing “Proxy Not Online”?

If you see a “Proxy Not Online” message, try releasing the session first. If the issue continues, wait a few moments and try connecting again.

Still Not Working?

If you've tried the steps above and your proxy is still not working, contact our support team.

To help us diagnose the issue more quickly, provide:

  • The software, app, or code you're using

  • Screenshots of your proxy configuration

  • Any error messages or console output

  • Any additional details that could help us reproduce the issue

The more information you provide, the easier it is for our team to identify the cause and help you resolve it.
