What Information Do I Need to Provide to Diagnose a Proxy Issue?

Written by Proxyrack

When you're experiencing an issue with your proxies, providing the right information can help our support team identify and resolve the problem more quickly.

What Information Should I Provide?

Please provide as much of the following information as possible:

1. The software or application you're using

Tell us which program, software, app, or code you're using with the proxies.

For example, let us know if you're using a browser, scraping software, automation tool, or your own code.

2. Your proxy configuration

Provide screenshots of your proxy configuration so our support team can check whether the proxy has been set up correctly.

3. Error messages or console output

If you're seeing an error, please include the exact error message or any relevant console output.

Screenshots are also helpful if you're unable to copy the error.

4. Additional details about your setup

Include any other information that could help us reproduce the issue, such as:

  • Device or operating system

  • Network you're using

  • Proxy type and configuration

  • How you're connecting to the proxy

  • When the issue started

  • Whether the issue happens consistently or intermittently

The More Information, the Better

The more context you provide, the easier it is for our support team to pinpoint the cause of the problem and help you find a solution.

If possible, provide all the information above when contacting support to avoid unnecessary back-and-forth.
